The Elemental Rhythm Breakthrough Experience utilizes the cadence of music to connect with rhythmic breathing patterns to facilitate a nervous system reset. This style is upregulated. When we actively breathe in this upregulated style, our body experiences a manageable level of stress which contributes to building resilience to everyday stressors.
This experience consists of movement (such as shaking), breathing rounds, breath holds, meditation/guided visualization, and is complemented with sound healing and integration.
Intentional breathwork, or the practice of consciously controlling your breathing patterns, offers an active form of meditation as well as a range of physical, mental, and emotional benefits.
Benefits may include stress reduction, improved focus, emotional regulation, better sleep, pain management, enhanced immune function, increased energy levels, greater self-awareness, as well as improved respiratory function.
Rhythmic breathing has been scientifically shown to change one's brainwave states from beta to alpha and even theta. In this brainwave state the brain activity changes and allows the participant to go into a deeper state of meditation.
